PEER/BITCH er et matriarkalsk shout-out til nationaleposet Peer Gynt med Caisa-Stina Forssberg i titelrollen i en mørk og goofy solo-forestilling, som foregår på et mix af engelsk, svensk, norsk = “svorsk”.
Forestillingen rykker Ibsens fortælling 151 år frem i tiden, hvor vores hovedpersonen har skiftet køn og dermed udfordrer den strukturelle forskelsbehandling, når det kommer til, hvem der kan tillade sig at opføre sig som et røvhul.
Vores hovedperson PEER/BITCH er en selvcentreret, kynisk, glat, smidig, blød, medgørlig og lad livsnyder med endometriose og glutenallergi. Hun har store forventninger til det samfund hun kritiserer, men sidder fast på internettet, hvor hun får startet sin egen youtube kanal, som hun ikke kan logge sig ud af.
Hun har tørt hår, glat hud, problemer, mange ønsker og drømme, og hun deler velvilligt ud af sine råd. Hun har brug for knus og varme for at vokse, men ikke for meget, så bliver hun klistret og uhåndterlig. Hun dater Solmund, men ikke eksklusivt, for ingen skal kunne “profitere” på hende, som hun siger.
Henriette Pedersen er en norsk koreograf, som har arbejder i krydsfeltet dans, teater og billedkunst siden 2000. Hun besøgte sidst Teater FÅR302 med JAG, HÄNDEL i 2016, hvor Caisa Stina Forssberg også stod på scenen.
Forestillingen varer 50 minutter og spiller under teaterfestivalen CPH STAGE.

PEER/BITCH is a matriarchal shout-out to the national epos Peer Gynt. The performance is a dark and goofy solo for a female Swedish actress. Caisa-Stina Forsberg was last seen in Pedersens performance I, Händel (2016). In PEER/BITCH she talks to us in Swedish, Norwegian, Svorsk and English.
PEER / BITCH moves the action forward 151 years, allowing the lead actors to switch gender and explore a structurally differential treatment when it comes to who is allowed to behave like an asshole.
On stage, we meet Caisa-Stina Forssberg in the role of PEER/BITCH, a self-centred, cynical, smooth, soft, responsive, but loose hedonist with endometriosis and gluten allergy. PEER/BITCH has high expectations for the society she criticizes, but is also stuck on the internet. She has started her own YouTube channel which she can´t log out of.
PEER/BITCH has dry hair and smooth skin, she has problems, but also many wishes and dreams, and she willingly shares her advice. PEER/BITCH needs to be crunched, she needs heat to grow, but not too much, then she becomes sticky and unmanageable. PEER/BITCH dates Solmund, but not exclusively cause«Nobody can profit me» says PEER/BITCH.
Henriette Pedersen is a Norwegian choreographer and her work has juggled dance, theatre and visual arts since 2000, and visited Teater Får302 in 2016 with “I, Händel”.
«The text is mixing language, like Norwegian, Swedish and English, low and high culture and works with intertextuality. It´s deeply influenced by the original version, youtube, hip hop and especially the album YE by Kanye West.
I`ve been interested writing from a deeply confused, chaotic, angry, misunderstood and megalomaniac perspective. I don´t care about the act, so the text is not working with linear time or logic. As my friend Fredrik says about PEER/BITCH: You don´t get a hamburger, you get the whole cow and you need to butcher it yourself.
